Rakim and Big Daddy Kane will take the stage at New York’s Apollo Theater on Saturday. They are among the performers celebrating the 50th anniversary of the religious organization the Five Percent Nation. The “God & Hip Hop” concert will also feature performances from Papoose and MC Sha Rock, while Erykah Badu will co-host the event with DJ Kay Slay. The concert is part of a weekend full of activities celebrating the Five Percent Nation’s 50th. Among the other events are movie screenings, panel discussions and meet-and-greets.
