Grammy winner Lauryn Hill is dedicating an updated version of her song “Black Rage” to the protests over the police shooting of an unarmed teenager in Ferguson, Missouri.

A reworked version of “My Favorite Things” from the musical “The Sound Of Music,” Hill sings of “all these kinds of things” inspiring the kind of outrage Ferguson citizens have been expressing over the past few weeks. The singer has performed the song live for several years. She released the updated single Wednesday with the caption, “An old sketch of ‘Black Rage’ done in my living room. Strange, the course of things. Peace for MO.”
