The trailer for director Antoine Fuqua’s thriller “The Equalizer” hit the web Monday, showing star Denzel Washington taking on organized crime after witnessing the brutal beatdown of a young prostitute.
The drama is based on Michael Sloan and Richard Lindheim’s 1980s CBS show that reteams Washington with his “Training Day” director, Fuqua.
Sony is set to release the film on September 26. A sequel is already in the works.
