A seven-month old baby, thrown from a car that was rear-ended in a hit and run on the city’s northwest side, has now died. Police are looking for two men this morning who fled from that serious crash late last night. Police found the baby—a little boy–on the ground by a guard rail after the two men who were in a black Dodge hit the family’s compact car and ran near I-65 and Guion Road around 11 p.m. Tuesday night. The baby died at Riley Hospital for Children at I-U Health. The parents and siblings were taken to Eskenazi Hospital in good condition. Their identities have not been released. Call 262-TIPS if you have any information on the drivers of that Dodge.
