Ball State University has sent an alert to all students and facility that there may be a possible gunman on campus.
This message is posted on the University’s website:
“Possible armed assailant in the area of rec and wellness. Avoid HP, Lewellen, Rec Center, HP, and Arena. Follow safety direction from UPD on site.”
As of 5:45 pm, Ball State was still advising people to remain in a safe location if they’re inside one of the affected buildings. Everyone else is asked to avoid the area.
