Not only is it the 30th Anniversary of the Circle City Classic this weekend, but there all sorts of events going on around the Classic like the WTLC Experience and more.  Plus more events are happening around the city that sure to put a smile on your childs face as they head back to school on Monday.

  • The weekend kicks off with the Fall Bazaar at Faith United Methodist Church off of East 16th Street.  Be a part of the silent auction, taste the baked goods, and check out the vendors and with breakfast and lunch being served.  Proceeds go to the church and the missions it supports.  For more information visit http://www.faithumc16.org/
  • The 4th Annual Scottish Highland Games and Festival is at German Park off of Meridian downtown.  It’s only for one day and comes with live entertainment, dance, vendors, games, food and more.  It starts at 9am and runs until 9pm, rain or shine.  See their website for details http://www.indyscotgamesandfest.com/

  • Take a trip to Stonycreek Farm in Noblesville for the Pumpkin Harvest Festival.  There’s a haunted house, farm animals (which is scary enough for me), pony rides, and much more running now until Oct.  31st.  For hours see http://www.stonycreekfarm.net/.
  • It’s another festival today down south at Southport off of Derbyshire Rd; it’s the Southport Fall Festival with live entertainment, food, bounce houses and more.  Starts at 10am and runs until 6pm; for more information check out http://southportevents.org/
  • The Pumpkin Patch is open at Piney Acres Farms in Hancock county with hayrides, games, straw and corn mazes, food and the list continues.  It runs now until Oct. 31st and is open daily.  For times visit http://pineyacresfarm.com/
  • Ready for beer games, wiener dog races, stong man competition and more?  Good because the 5th Annual Original and Fabulous Germanfest is back at the Athenaeum off of Michigan Street.  Great german food, ZwergenLand for the kids and more from 12-7p.  For details and prices see http://bit.ly/AIgermanfest.
