Ray Charles Stamp Unveiled By USPS On Legend’s Birthday
The great Ray Charles would’ve been 83 years old today. In honor of his legendary career and accomplishments, the US Postal Service has unveiled a ‘Ray Charles Forever’ stamp today. The limited-edition stamp is part of their ‘Music Icons Forever’ series and is available now.
In conjunction with the stamp being released, a CD/DVD set called ‘Ray Charles Forever’ will be released tomorrow. The DVD includes 20 minutes of additional footage with the legend performing tunes such as “A Song for You,” “Come Rain or Come Shine,” “Imagine” and “America the Beautiful.”
