The day is starting out beautiful with a nice breeze.  I sure hope this continues throughout the weekend.  School has started for many, but that doesn’t mean the fun has to end; there are still plenty of things happening this weekend for you and your family to enjoy.  Venture out to some of the events listed below:

  • State Fairgrounds continue to stay packed with the 157th running of the Indiana State Fair.  It’s considered to be one of te largest fairs in the nation and this year is no exception with Sinbad High Diving act, the Great American Frontier Show, Cheerleading competitions and it even includes an Ice Show.  For tix price and more info click on http://www.in.gov/statefair/fair/index.html

  • Take the kids to the Indianapolis Museum of Art to experience “Majestic African Textile” Exhibit where they can see ritual garments, royal and prestige cloths, masking and more.  The exhibit is running now through March 2, 2014.  http://www.imamuseum.org/
