Last night season two of R&B Divas: Atlanta premiered on TV One. This season, two new divas were added to the cast: LaTocha Scott and Angie Stone. They joined original cast members Faith Evans, Nicci Gilbert, Syleena Johnson, Monifah, and Keke Wyatt.
We can sense that there will be a lot more drama this season compared to the first season. In this episode, Syleena Johnson tells all the divas that she has a ‘big announcement.’ *Spoiler Alert* It wasn’t much of announcement, but rather an idea. She pitches the idea of the divas all going on tour together. Sounds like a good idea, right? Well there was a particular person (we won’t name any names) who wasn’t really feeling the ‘idea.’
There were some non-dramatic moments, though. We got to see a preview of the divas performing a powerful tribute to music icon Chaka Khan at the 2013 Trumpet Awards — those ladies can sang!
