Raising a child alone is no easy feat. From wrangling the kids for soccer meets to preparing dinner and micromanaging the chores, it’s a rare single parent who doesn’t feel a little (or a lot)harried by the end of the day.

Just ask HuffPost Divorce blogger Kerri Zane. On Wednesday, the single mother of two drew from her own experience to outline five things single parents can do to make juggling it all a little less stressful. Some of her advice? Establish boundaries with your kids so you’re not saying “yes” to everything and accept the fact that sometimes you will need outside help.

Inspired by Zane’s blog, we asked our readers on Facebook and Twitter to share with us their best advice for single parents. Click through the slideshow below for their tips, the head to the comments and weigh in with your advice for parents raising their kids alone.
