Jennifer Lawrence fell on the way to the Oscar stage to accpet her win for Best Actress. Lawrence won the Academy Award for her role in Silver Linings Playbook and beat out favorites like Jessica Chastain (Zero Dark Thirty), Emmanuelle Riva (Amour), Quvenzhané Wallis (Beasts of the Southern Wild) and Naomi Watts (The Impossible.)
Lawrence’s Christian Dior gown got the better of her before she made it up onstage. The 22-year-old actress tripped on her pink dress and toppled over on the stairs en route to the stage. A quick Hugh Jackman tried to help her up, but Lawrence recovered herself.
