Rusty’s Golden Dusties – Whodini – ‘The Freaks Come Out At
There are many truly unheralded rap legends and Whodini rates among the most unheralded of them all. They were the first rap group to go platinum in sales, many of their songs have been reinterpreted to be the basis of songs that went on to be big hits for other artists. They were headliners on the first hip-hop tour to play arenas, stadiums, and coliseums, ‘The Fresh Fest’ in 1986.
