Diamond, formerly of Crime Mobb is trying her hand at a solo career. She created a major buzz for herself while repping for the ladies at the 2010 BET Hip Hop Awards cypher where she went toe for toe with the boys.
Diamond made recent news over a rumored relationship with Soulja Boy and bad break-up with Lil’ Scrappy. Scrappy’s mother even took a shot at the lyricist. She assures us that she and Scrappy are friends though and the media misconstrued the separation.
On Lil Scrappy: “When it comes to Scrappy and I, I’ll just say that everybody grows and they into different directions. It was definitely blown out of proportion. There were people commenting on our break-up who didn’t really know what was going on. Those random comments made the media turn into an uproar. It wasn’t anything like how it was portrayed. I talked to Scrappy’s mom and she didn’t even know what was going on. Scrappy and I are really cool. I’ve been there for him through his hard times and he’s been there for me through my hard times. It’s not anything negative. It’s not anything how the media tried to make it seem.”
On Soulja Boy: “Soulja Boy and I are just friends. He’s a great person and a great guy. I’ve known him for years, since he first came out. We’ve been cool ever since. We’re cool to this day. To hear Soulja Boy speak so highly of me in his interviews makes me feel good because a lot of people have the wrong impression of me. People tend to go off of what they hear in the media and you can’t judge a book by its cover. Soulja Boy is one person that really knows me for me. Him speaking positively about me kind of overshadowed all the bad press and publicity I was getting before.”
Exercise Routine: ” I don’t really exercise. My metabolism is so fast right now and I’m just young. I don’t have a strict routine that I follow. I go off of how I feel and I eat healthy foods. I think that plays a big part in the way my figure is. I eat a lot of strawberries, blueberries, broccoli, and spinach. I mean anything healthy thing you can think of, I eat it.”
Hair Secrets: “I put baby powder in my hair to get the oil out of it. Doing that allows you to keep your hair a little longer without having to wash it so soon. If you don’t sleep with a bonnet, make sure you sleep with a silk lined pillow case. Sometimes, cotton pillow cases can and will pull your hair out.”
Girl Crush: “My girl crush would be Paula Patton. She’s beautiful to me.”
What’s In Your Bag: “I’m carrying a clutch. But I always keep nail polish, my eyebrow pencil, my credit cards, license, lipstick, and cell phone.”
Boxers or Briefs[on your man]: “Briefs. Boxers are wack.”
