It is Hot!!! I remember growing up with no air conditioning. We did everything you could think of to try and stay cool on a day like today. We would stick our head in the ice box, sit in front of it with a fan blowing the cool air on us, (doing this while my mother was at work of course,) put on our swimsuits and turn on the water hose and spray each other. What did you do growing-up to stay cool when you didn’t have the luxury of air?
