suicide bombers
One in every five "suicide bombers" used by Boko Haram in the past two years has been a child, underscoring the heartless nature of the religious extremist group, according to a report released Tuesday by the United Nations Children's Fund, writes Al Jazeera.
Two female suicide bombers between the ages of 17 and 20 reportedly blew themselves up this week in a camp in northeastern Nigeria designed to protect people trying to escape Boko Haram terrorists, killing at least 58 people.
It was the first time the radical group has targeted the world's most populous Muslim nation.
