If you don’t have one already pick a date night which enables you to invest time into your love life. This is important; a garden doesn’t grow with out a little tender love and care. At least once a day take a few minutes to be present, talk, listen, and remember you care about this person. Get back to a point of empathy, stop criticizing, and when you need help with something ask in a sincere manor. Start small and work up to big things. People want to be loved and needed but they also like to be rewarded for their efforts. Share all the best romantic gifts, kind words, love notes, messages left around the house, and flowers. But don’t forget about the small things, helping around the house, with the kids, making a partners sack lunch, picking up a food or beverage at the store just because you know they like it. All these things add up big in the love department.

Make a list of anything and everything you are willing to try then pick a date and time. Even if it isn’t something you would do again it will certainly open up the lines of communication and maybe be a funny story to tell in the future.
