Oprah Winfrey has lent her voice to “Sesame Street” for the first time, as an animated letter “O,” who interviews such guests as “Otto the Orangutan” and “Ophelia the Octopus.”

Producers of the award-winning TV show said Monday that Winfrey’s voice would be featured in the chat parody “The O Show” on the 41st season premiere of “Sesame Street” on Sept. 27.

Producers said it was the first time that Winfrey had lent her voice to the award-winning TV show for pre-schoolers.

Reggie Bush, Usher and will.i.am will also be featured in the new season of “Sesame Street,” which will emphasize science.

Furry blue superhero Grover is getting his own new segment in a “Super Grover 2.0″ format in which he stumbles across solutions to problems around planet Earth.

The new season of “Sesame Street” also will feature a number of parodies of TV shows and movies. “True Mud” is a play on the popular HBO vampire series for adults “True Blood,” while “Ironing Monster” takes a new look at comic book superhero Iron Man.
