A lawyer who was suing Prince for nonpayment has filed documents to dismiss the case because the singer finally paid up.
According to TMZ, Ed McPherson filed the lawsuit in August seeking payment of $49,987.74 after making “countless attempts to resolve the matter.”
McPherson said he was hired to represent the artist on two different cases, and “performed legal services on [Prince’s] behalf in an exemplary manner.”
One of the cases Prince hired McPherson for was a lawsuit by an agency which — like McPherson — claimed Prince never paid the bill.
