Jersey Shore’s” Snooki is accusing President Obama of fronting on”The View” like he’s never heard of her, when he actually mentioned the MTV train wreck and her cast mate just months earlier during a comedy bit.
“I know he knows who I am,” the self-described “guidette” tells E! News. “Why did he have to lie and say he didn’t know me? He did say Snooki and JWoww about the tanning stuff and now he doesn’t know who I am? He has to stop lying.”
In May, at the annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner in D.C., President Obama joked about a tanning tax, saying “the following individuals shall be excluded from the indoor tanning tax within this bill: Snooki, JWOWW, The Situation and House minority leader John Boehner.” [See clip below.]
On the July 29 “Jersey Shore” premiere, Snooki blasted Obama for signing the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act, which requires tanning salons to impose a 10 percent tax.
“I don’t go tanning anymore because Obama put a 10 percent tax on tanning,” she said. “McCain would never put a 10 percent tax on tanning. Because he’s pale and would probably want to be tan.”
