Soul Legend Dionne Warwick will reportedly replace the injured Aretha Franklin at an annual fund-raising birthday bash.

The Queen of soul Franklin is currently home recovering after breaking her ribs and having abdominal pains from a tumble last Sunday.

Franklin, who says her doctors advised her to undergo tests, was forced to cancel two free shows in New York after the incident, and now she has cancelled an appearance at an upcoming birthday party for U.S. Rep. Charles Rangel.

Among the contributors in the past who are reticent to donate this year are Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and MetLife Insurance Company. Over the years, Pfizer has provided campaign contributions to Rangel of $45,000, while the MetLife and his wife have added an additional $11,000.

Tickets for the party are priced from $200 to $2,500.
