Omari Hardwick Joins Cast as Muhammad Ali’s Father in Prime Video Series ‘The Greatest’
Omari Hardwick has landed a role as Muhammad Ali’s father, Cassius “Cash” Clay, Sr., in the upcoming Prime Video series The Greatest. The show will depict the life of the boxing legend, from his humble beginnings in Louisville, Kentucky, to his rise as a three-time heavyweight champion and cultural icon. Dana Gourrier will play Ali’s mother, and Jaalen Best has been cast as Ali. The series will explore both Ali’s triumphs in the ring and his personal life, with Ben Watkins as the showrunner and executive producers including Michael B. Jordan and Roc Nation.
