Big Change Coming To Costco Food Court in 2025
Costco may soon be making a major change to its food court offerings.
According to reports circulating online, the wholesale giant is planning to switch from Pepsi to Coca-Cola products in early 2025.
The news was first shared by the website Costco Insider, which cited multiple sources confirming the switch.
The move would mark a return to Coca-Cola, which Costco dropped in 2013 to save costs and maintain the iconic $1.50 hot dog and soda combo.
Now, after over a decade of serving Pepsi products, Costco is rumored to be bringing back Coke, Coke Zero, Diet Coke, and Sprite, replacing Pepsi and Starry.
Many Costco enthusiasts expressed joy at the idea of enjoying Coca-Cola flavors with their food court favorites. One Instagram user commented:
“Diet Coke!! I used to always get a drink at Costco but haven’t bought one since they switched to Pepsi!”
Similarly, Reddit users chimed in with excitement, with one exclaiming:
“This makes my whole day. I always say the one downside to the food court is the Pepsi.”
Costco Insider noted that customer preference may have been a significant factor in the decision.
A poll conducted by the publication found that 87% of Costco fans preferred Coca-Cola over Pepsi.

Additionally, they highlighted Coca-Cola’s focus on quality control, including strict guidelines for fountain syrup mixing and machine maintenance, which ensures a consistent and excellent experience for customers.
While the majority of reactions have been positive, not everyone is thrilled about the rumored switch.
A few Pepsi enthusiasts have voiced their disappointment, with one Reddit user joking:
“There are perhaps tens of us” who prefer Pepsi.
