According to http://www.eurweb.com

it was reported Friday that Katt Williams had been arrested in Georgia after a 911 call claimed the comedian, or someone in his entourage, pulled out a shotgun in a Walmart parking lot.

But the Newnan Police Department has since announced that Pimpin’ Pimpin’ was neither arrested nor charged in the incident.

Newnan Deputy Police Chief Rodney Riggs tells TMZ Katt was handcuffed, put in the back of a police car and questioned about an alleged altercation in the Walmart parking lot — but Riggs says Williams was released at the scene and never officially booked.

Police had received a 911 call from a man who claimed Williams or one of his associates brandished a shotgun — but authorities say they found no evidence that a gun was used during the incident.

However, when asked if they found a gun on the scene, police would not comment, TMZ reported. Also, Riggs did confirm that two people involved in the incident — a woman and her son — were booked for disorderly conduct.

Meanwhile, Williams was indeed arrested on Wednesday (Dec. 2) because of a bond issue connected to his burglary and trespassing counts from November.
