Jennifer Hudson is not only infront of the camera in South Africa this month, the Grammy Award winning diva is also recording her sophomore album !
Working “overtime,” Hudson gave us an update this week, revealing that she’s working on ‘Winnie’ during the day and hitting the studio ‘at night’.
“Hi!! Haven’t checked in with you guys in awhile. Working overtime in South Africa right now – Winnie movie by day, hot new album by night,” Hudson wrote Monday. “In the studio right now with @thelarryjackson ( Larry Jackson) and Harvey Mason in Johannesburg cookin’ up somethin’ real HOT! Can’t wait for you to hear it.”
As previously reported, Hudson has begun filming scenes for ‘Winnie,’ a film based on the life of Winnie Mandela, ex-wife of Nelson Mandela. Her album, untitled at this point, is slated for release fall 2010.
