*Big Daddy Kane has gone and tied the knot with his girlfriend Shawnette.
The veteran rapper, whose real name is Antonio Monterio Hardy, tied the knot in a ceremony held in North Carolina, according to a Twitter post from guest and former old-school rap rival Derrick “D-Nice” Jones. [Story continues below.]
“It was a beautiful ceremony,” D-Nice Tweeted. “It was an honor to attend his wedding. We have so much history. During the time when my crew (Boogie Down Productions) & his crew (The Juice Crew) were beefing, Kane & I were friends. I was even his hypeman at an Apollo show.”
