Washington is the first state to legalize human composting. Governor Jay Inslee signed the bill into law on Tuesday. People in that state can now choose to have their body turned into soil after death. When the composting is complete, the soil is returned to loved ones. They in turn can use the soil plant flowers, vegetables or trees. The argument for human composting is it’s an alternative to cremation and burials. Proponents argue it would be great in cities where the land for graveyards is running out.

What are your thoughts on human composting? Would you consider it?
