The Republican-led Senate Intelligence Committee is issuing a subpoena for President Trump’s son over the Russia probe. It’s the first known subpoena for one of Trump’s children. The panel wants Donald Trump Jr. to answer questions about what he knew about plans to build a Trump Tower in Moscow. Trump Jr. had previously told the Senate Judiciary Committee that he was “peripherally aware” of the proposal for the building. Former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen contradicted that account, saying he briefed Trump Jr. and Ivanka Trump about ten times.
