There are reports that the Mueller Report is more damaging to President Trump than Attorney General Bill Barr’s four-page letter indicated. The New York Times is reporting that associates of the Special Counsel team say Barr failed to adequately portray their findings of the investigation into Russia meddling in the 2016 election. Barr released a four-page “principal conclusions” of the report soon after it was completed. In it he claimed that no evidence of the Trump campaign conspiring with Russia was found and did not make a call on if the president obstructed justice. The Times story says some of the nearly 60-member team are growing frustrated because they think Barr’s summary will harden the views of Americans before the report is actually public.
