From the category of ‘Too little,Too late.’ The NFL is revamping its replay review system for the 2019 season. League owners have approved a rule that allows offensive and defensive pass interference calls and non-calls to be reviewed. Coaches can challenge those calls in the first 28 minutes of each half, with the final two minutes subject to a booth review. The provision passed 31-to-1 at the owners meeting in Phoenix, with the Bengals reportedly the lone team to vote no. The rule is in place only for the 2019 season. It comes after a missed pass interference call in the NFC Championship Game in New Orleans helped the Rams reach the Super Bowl.
