Former Congressman Beto O’Rourke is reportedly going to enter the 2020 presidential race. KTSM TV in El Paso says O’Rourke confirmed to the news outlet that he’s going seek the Democratic nomination. He’ll make a formal announcement to supporters Thursday. In a new interview with Vanity Fair, the Texas Democrat said “I’m born to be in it” when referring to the race for the White House. Recent polls show O’Rourke is still popular with Democratic voters months after losing a close race to Republican Senator Ted Cruz.
