President Trump’s former campaign chief is going to spend less than four years in prison for his tax and bank fraud conviction.  The 47 month sentence stems from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election.  Manafort could’ve been sentenced to up to 24 year in prison.  Just before sentencing Manafort, the judge in the case said he believed the sentencing guidelines were too strict and that apart from this conviction, Manafort has lived an otherwise blameless life.
