California Senator Kamala Harris is officially launching her campaign for the White House in 2020. Harris launched her campaign Saturday in Oakland at a rally. Harris started off her speech by saying all her life she’s only had one client: the people. Some of the issues Harris said she would fight for are migrant protections, tax reform, criminal justice reform, equal pay, education rights, health care rights and the opioid epidemic. Although Harris didn’t mention President Trump by name, she said it’s un-American to wage a war against the press. She also added that keeping children in cages isn’t border security, it’s abuse. The California Democrat said in this moment in history Americans should seek truth, speak truth and fight for the truth. She said she will continue to fight for the people in her bid for the presidency in 2020.
