Another day, another, well…
President Trump is once again saying he knew nothing about a meeting held at Trump Tower in 2016. The meeting involved his son, Donald Trump Jr., and a Russian attorney offering dirt on Hillary Clinton. On Twitter Sunday morning, Trump said “Fake News reporting, a complete fabrication, that I am concerned about the meeting my wonderful son, Donald, had in Trump Tower.” The President added the meeting “was to get information on an opponent, totally legal and done all the time in politics – and it went nowhere. I did not know about it!” He and his lawyer insist that Trump Jr. was truthful to the Senate Judiciary Committee when he said his father knew nothing about the meeting.
