With the beginning of July, comes the closing of I-65 for both North & Southbound lanes.  For more information about the closing go to in.gov/indot  Luckily this is a sort work week with July 4th a few days away, but that also means that there are plenty of activities going on in and around your city.  Please remember to stay hydrated and to get under shade when you can because it’s going to feel like it over 100 degrees outside.

  • It kicked off at 9am this morning, WINGS OVER INDY at the Indianapolis Metropolitan Airport.  This is the last day of this 2 day free event with WWII flight demos, rides, kids area and more.  It’s going on until 5pm and you can get more details at wingsoverindy.com
  • If you’re not on a diet check out INDY BURGER WEEK at participating restaurants through-out the city.  Organized by Nuvo, today is the last day.  To find a restaurant near you go to indyburgerweek.com
  • The entire family can be a part of the RED, WHITE & BLUEBERRY FESTIVAL at Mallow Run Winery in Johnson County.  This free event will have live music, food trucks, blueberry hard cider and so much more until 6pm with a fireworks show to end the evening.  Detail available at mallowrun.com/picnic-concert-series-2018/
  • Your INDIANA FEVER WNBA BASKETBALL team is playing the Atlanta Dream at 5pm over at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.  Tickets start at $13 as they celebrate Pride Nite at the game.  For tickets go to fever.wnba.com
