When it comes to equal pay, it looks like Indiana has one of the worst gender wage gaps in the country, according to a study done by the Institute for Women’s Policy Research.

According to their study, Indiana ranks 48th in the country when it comes to earning ratio between men and women, plus they gave Indy a “D” grade for the overall grade, one of the worst grades.

Missisippi is the only state to receive an F on the Poverty & Opportunity Index, with Louisiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Arkansas each receiving a D-.

While Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Massachusetts received the top grades on the Poverty & Opportunity Index in 2018.
