Accentuate the Positive is all about highlighting someone who is doing great things in a school to lead and inspire in our community.
That special someone, could be a teacher, student or volunteer and for the month of August, our Accentuate the Positive winner, is Jaylan Anderson
At 21 years old, Jaylen is hardworking young man who between college, and working, still found time to dedicate himself to volunteering for different organizations and his church not to mention helping out at home.
He recently won a scholarship pagent at Ball State and was awarded for most improved. Plus, he has helped to feed homeless, helped with the youth shut in and done summer school every school year at ball state to managed his car payment.
In short, Jaylen has a great spirit and strives to be great.
