Image result for end of summerTemps reaching into the high 80’s today.  Summer’s not over yet, let’s get out and enjoy the last Sunday of summer with a lot of great and fun activities for the entire family.  Check out some of the events below:

  • Indy Jazz Fest is still here in the city celebrating close to 20yrs of the festival here in the City.  It’s now day 4 out of the ten days full of celebrating the legacies of jazz with a tribute to Ella Fitzgerald , Dipsey Gillespie and more at various locations throughout the city.  To see what’s going on today, go to indyjazzfest.net/
  • It’s the final day of the 36th Annual 4 Wheel Off-Road Jamboree at the Indiana State Fairgrounds going on now until 3pm.  It’s then followed up with a Monster Truck race that is sure to please.  For ticket information go to bit.ly/2x27fAz
  • Be a part of Tenderloin Week in Indy.  It’s a fundraising event to benefit Second Helpings with $4 tenderloins at 20 participating restaurants across the city.  To find a location closest to you, check out indytenderloinweek.com/
  • The last day of the 22nd Annual Indy Irish Fest is today at Military Park.  The last chance to enjoy the good, live music, demo’s and so much more until 5pm.  Get more details at indyirishfest.com/
  • The Latin American Culture is  being celebrated today at the Hispanic Heritage Fiesta at the Indianapolis Zoo until 4pm.  There’ll be scavenger hunts, pinatas, and so much more.  Be a part of the celebration and get more information at indianapoliszoo.com/events-and-groups/zoo-events/hispanic-heritage-fiesta
  • Your Indianapolis Colts battle against the Arizona Cardinals as this is the 1st home game of the season at Lucas Oil Stadium.  Kick off is at 1pm and you can get more information at colts.com/
  • The St. George Festival continues in Fishers today.  It’s the last day of this 3 day festival that’s filled with children carnival rides, music, food and more until 5pm today.  Admission is FREE so check out more information at stgfest.org/
  • It’s also the last day of the St. Lawrence Parish Festival in Indy off of E. 46th St.  It has been packed all weekend due to all the various activities such as midway rides, games, the beer garden and more.  Going on now until 6pm today.  Details available at archindy.org/criterion/local/festivals.html
  • The Miss Circle City Classic Coronation is being held at Arlington High School today at 5pm.  It’s to select this years Miss Circle City Classic; an award that recognizes outstanding young women in the African-American Culture.  Dances from Iibada Dance Co and so much more.  To get a list of all the details visit circlecityclassic.com/
