Image result for end of summerI hear the temperature is going up this weekend, fingers crossed, and high’s are expected to reach the mid 80’s this weekend.  That’s just perfect because there’s a lot going on in and around Indy today from Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention Walk to the Indianapolis Wine Festival and so much more.  Things for the entire family, and some just for the grown folks, check out some of the events below:

  • It’s the last day for The Beech Grove Fall Festival in Marion County.  It’s a 4 day festival with rides, games, food booths and so much more. For details and events going on today, head over to  bgpromoters.org/fall-festival

  • It’s a 10 celebration of the legacies in jazz as part of this years Indy Jazz Fest in Indianapolis.  Various events going on at different locations throughout the city. Performers include Jane Monheit, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Kirk Whalum and more.  The 19th annual Indy Jazz Fest will pay tribute to Ella Fitzgerald and Dizzy Gillespie at different locations.  To find out what’s going on today go to indyjazzfest.net/
  • 30th Annual Pleasant View Heritage Days Festival in Shelby County is an annual community festival with food, vendors, games, kids zone and so much more.  Going on now until 5pm, get more information go to  facebook.com/PVHAssociation/
  • The 36th Annual 4-Wheel Off-Road Jamboree is going on at the Indiana State Fairgrounds until Sunday.  The jamboree ends when the Monster Truck Race begins.  To find out about tickets go to bit.ly/2x27fAz
  • The 22nd Annual Indy Irish Fest is this weekend at Military Park.  Live music, great food, demo’s and more going on now until Sunday at 5pm.  To find out about tickets go to indyirishfest.com/
  • Be a part of the three-day festival, St. Lawrence Parish Festival with good food, live music, midway rides, kids games, Bingo, beer garden, and more at St. Lawrence Catholic Church off of E 46th St. in Indianapolis.  Full details available at archindy.org/criterion/local/festivals.html
