Kobe Bryant will have not one, but two numbers retired by the
Lakers this season. Los Angeles announced both Bryant’s No. 24 and
No. 8 would be retired on Dec. 18 prior to the game against the
champion Warriors. Bryant, an 18-time All-Star who won five NBA
titles with the Lakers, retired following the 2015-16 season. He
wore No. 8 for his first 10 seasons before switching to No. 24, and
he’ll become the 10th Laker to have a number retired….and probably the last Laker to have two numbers retired.

Maybe MJ should’ve stuck with ’45’ when he came back….

Congrats Kobe!
