A shooting happened early this morning in Brownsburg. Brownsburg Police were called to Alpha Drive, a few blocks southwest of the intersection of State Roads 136 and 267 around 5 a.m. A woman was shot inside a home according to police. Two children were in the home at the time of the shooting believed to be 13 and 6-years-old. Police believe that the 911 call to report the shooting came from one of those children. The victim, Tiffany Bolin, was taken to Methodist Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. Her condition was not released. Brownsburg police are searching for Kenneth Bolin. They say he is the father of the two children. Bolin is believed to be 34-years-old. He was last seen on a black Harley-Davidson motorcycle with plate M803WK. Police believe he is armed and dangerous. If you see Bolin, call 911 immediately.

Former President Barack Obama spoke out yesterday after President Trump decided to end the DECA program. Obama told reporters, “The notion that we would just arbitrarily, or because of politics, punish those kids when they didn’t do anything wrong themselves, I think would be something that would merit me speaking out. “DECA or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program was ended Yesterday by Trump. In a Facebook post Tuesday, former president Obama called Trump’s choice to end the program “cruel,” “wrong” and against common sense. Obama also called the move by Trump “self-defeating” because he said those in the program “want to start new businesses, staff our labs, serve in our military, and otherwise contribute to the country we love.”
