Black Family from Trenton, NJ are giving back to the community. 70-years-old, Pearlie Mae Smith purchased a winning lottery ticket worth $429 million with other family members at a convenience store. Ms. Smith and her family took $284 million to help others who are in need and after a year has past they have spent $16 million to fight poverty. The family started the Smith Family Foundation to help low-income families, homelessness, create job training and more.
The Smith family serves as an example of how to prioritize when becoming wealthy overnight. Because there is so much to management, it’s important for lottery winners to have a strong support system that can be trusted.
