In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Tyler Perry addressed his thoughts about race and Hollywood. Perry thinks Hollywood tends to focus more on money than race. There wasn’t any questions asked about the outburst of Monique.

Even though he’s openly talked about race in the movie industry before, he’s also previously said that he’s not the ideal person to discuss race in film during a 2015 Producers Guild of America panel.
