Indianapolis’s public schools will teach all children, regardless if they’re in this country legally.
On Thursday, school district leaders at IPS approved a resolution that will continue their practice of not asking for social security numbers or asking a student’s immigration status, also not participating in the new federal immigration order.
Indy schools are one of thousands of districts across the nation offering support to immigrant students and their families.
