Earlier this month, R&B singer Eric Benet celebrated his 50th birthday and while some people look at 50 years old as getting old, Benet has a different opinion.
In an interview with WVSN Miami News, Benet spoke very highly of being 50 years old, saying he is feeling better than he has ever felt before.
“I’m honestly feeling better than I’ve ever felt in my life, with the added benefit of, with the proverbial falling down flat on your face throughout life every now and then, and learning through the process of picking yourself up.” Benet said. “So there’s that added wisdom to go with it. So, I feel like I got the young dude’s body with the old dude’s mind.”
Benet will be hitting the stage along with many others at WTLC’ 2016 Holiday Affair Concert on December 4th!
