Evette and Lamont agreed to joint custody of their 3 kids after divorcing in 2008. She keeps them during the school year while Lamont has them during the summer. Over the years Evette has allowed Lamont to stay at her house during Christmas so they both can enjoy time with the children. This summer Evette’s boyfriend proposed and she accepted.
Now that the holidays are approaching, Evette still wants her ex-husband to stay over on Christmas Eve with the kids. Evette’s wondering how can she make her fiancé comfortable with their prior arrangement? Is it time for Evette to end this tradition of allowing her kids father to spend the night during Christmas since she’s engaged to be married?
