The two clicked instantly but Donte was still reestablishing himself after being released and Nikki was getting things in order with a sick father on her end. Eventually their situations got the best of the relationship and they stopped communicating but they’d still talk periodically on the phone.

Fast toward 4 years, Donte is now engaged to be married this Fall but asked to see Nikki one last time. They went on a getaway over the 4th of July holiday and Nikki says it was fireworks. The sparks reunited them but now they’re both stuck. Donte says he’s not in love with his fiance but she was there for him in his time of need. Nikki wants to know should she leave him alone and forget about her feelings or fight to the finish for the man she still has feelings for?
