All Hail to Queen Latifah! She’s going to be honored at the VH1 “Hip Hop Honors” on July 11th. In fact, the name of the show is “VH1 Hip Hop Honors: All Hail The Queens” The Music network says Latifah has been a leading figure in both music and acting. In 1994, she took home a Grammy for “Best Performance” and was nominated another six times. She’s also had leading roles in movies like “Set It Off, ” “The Secret Life Of Bees,” “Hairspray,” “Beauty Shop” and others.
Congrats again to Queen Latifah who’s one of many women being honored at the show
