“Straight Outta Compton” is the big winner in the inaugural All Def Movie Awards. The film won Best Picture at the Wednesday night ceremony, and Ice Cube took home the award for Best Black Survivor in a Movie for his role as Danny Rich in “Anaconda.” Will Smith also went home a winner after being presented the Lifetime Achievement Award. “Creed” garnered some wins as well with Best Director for Ryan Coogler and Best Actor for star Michael B. Jordan. Russell Simmons created his award show because of the outrage over the lack of diversity in the Oscars.
