An MBA student near Boston is 12-thousand-dollars richer after owning Google-dot-com for one minute. Last fall, Sanmay Ved thought he bought the website for 12-dollars after playing around with Google Domains. After his card was charged and a confirmation email sent, he got another email telling him his order had been cancelled. Google says they paid Ved more than 12-thousand-dollars for pointing out the bug that let him buy the site. The company commonly pays rewards to researchers who find problems with their services.
