Turns out, more Americans than you might expect could benefit from a lesson or two about national landmarks. That’s based on a new survey by Intrepid Travel, a company specializing in small excursions. It surveyed two-thousand people from across the U.S., and although 70-percent considered themselves pretty knowledgeable about their national landmarks, more than half were clueless about where the Grand Canyon is. Moving forward, 63-percent didn’t know the Space Needle is in Seattle, and 40-percent didn’t know that Mount Rushmore is in South Dakota.
